Why hydroseeding
Hydroseeding mixes seed, mulch, fertilizer and water into a slurry and sprays it evenly over prepared ground. Compared with laying sod or spreading seed and straw by hand:
- Usually costs less than sod, especially on bigger yards and lots.
- Even coverage: the spray reaches every part of the yard, including slopes and edges.
- Holds on slopes: the mulch keeps seed and soil from washing away in the first rains.
- Right after the dirt work: we can grade and seed in the same job, so the ground isn't left bare.
