Why it's worth doing right
Forestry mulching uses a skid steer with a mulching head that grinds brush and small trees into a layer of mulch as it goes. Compared with cutting, piling and burning or hauling:

How big a tree can forestry mulching handle?
Brush, vines and small trees are what mulching does best. Bigger trees are usually cut and handled separately. Tell us what's on the lot and we'll give you a straight answer.
Do you remove stumps?
Mulching grinds brush and small trees down near ground level. If you need bare dirt for a building pad or driveway, we'll talk through stump removal and grading.
Do I need a permit to clear my land?
In North Carolina, disturbing an acre or more of land usually needs an approved erosion control plan. We'll tell you if your project crosses that line.
